Whether you are looking for an annual subscription to build your project car or simple hourly bay access for routine maintenance, our lounge provides enthusiasts with the space, light, and professional-grade infrastructure needed to execute their work safely.
We bridge the gap between the struggle of a cramped home garage and the cost of a full-service shop. We’ve replaced the “at-home” struggle—fighting for space on a driveway or working in the dark—with a community-driven workshop where your project gets the professional setting it deserves, backed by on-site expert assistance when your build demands a second pair of eyes.
Professional Workspace for Ambitious DIY Projects
The Lounge is designed for both the serious hobbyist and the dedicated builder. Members have the freedom to tackle high-level projects, including widebody installations, tire mounting and balancing, and full engine swaps in a climate-controlled, well-lit facility. For long-term projects, we utilize a project-form approach to ensure your setup is optimized for success and doesn’t overstay its welcome.
Please note: To maintain our professional standards and environmental compliance, certain technical tasks—such as A/C refrigerant work—require EPA 609 certification to be performed within our facility. We provide the lifts, the power, and the environment; you provide the skill and the passion.
Membership & Access Tiers
- Annual Subscription: The premier way to join the Lounge, offering the best value per hour for frequent builders and long-term project owners who need consistent lift access.
- Hourly Access: Flexible, on-demand workshop rental for routine maintenance, oil changes, or aesthetic styling. Perfect for the weekend warrior who just needs a lift for a Saturday afternoon.
- “Founder’s Status”: Our founding BYOT (Bring Your Own Tools) members enjoy a “tier for life” status, locking in preferential rates and booking priority as the lounge expands.
- Community Events: Members gain exclusive access to technical seminars, late-night wrenching events, and community BBQs, fostering a network of local automotive talent.
- Future Tool Access: While currently BYOT, a full-tools tier with access to Snap-on and Milwaukee specialized tool carts is currently in development for the 2026 roadmap.
BYOT (Bring Your Own Tools) Policy
- The Lounge Philosophy: Currently, we operate as a BYOT facility. We believe you work best with the tools you know and trust, allowing you to maintain your workflow without searching for a missing 10mm socket.
- Billed On-Site Assistance: Stuck on a seized bolt or tricky diagnosis? If your project requires professional hands-on help, our expert technicians are available for on-site assistance, billed at an hourly rate.
- Consumables Station: We stock essential consumables on-site—including brake cleaner, zip ties, shop towels, and universal fluids—so you don’t have to stop your work to drive to the parts store.
- Fluid Disposal: We handle the messy part. Your bay rental includes eco-friendly disposal of waste oil, coolant, and old filters, keeping your workspace (and the environment) clean.
- Secure Storage (Project Tiers): For long-term builds, we offer designated secure storage options for your parts and tools, so you don’t have to load and unload your truck for every session.
Equipment Training & Safety
- Safety & Certification: To protect our members and our high-end machinery, a mandatory safety orientation is required before using specialized shop equipment or operating vehicle lifts.
- Tire & Wheel Equipment: We provide training on our professional tire mounting and balancing machines, allowing you to swap your own track tires or stretch tires for a show setup.
- Suspension Tools: Access to professional wall-mounted strut spring compressors, making coilover installation or spring swaps safer and faster than using sketchy “widow-maker” clamps.
- Specialty Fabrication: Members approved for fabrication work can access bench grinders, vises, and drill presses for custom bracketry or modification work.
- Instructional Requirements: We provide specific checkout procedures for the brake lathe, alignment machine, and A/C recovery units to ensure precision results and prevent equipment damage.
